Looks like it ran out of memory.
Indeed the machine seems to be running at around 90%
memory usage all the time, leaving very little margin
for exceptional peaks.

Of course it still should not crash the mail system
like that but just start slowing it down, but...
I'll take a closer look tomorrow if I can tune it
to handle memory shortage better.

It might be prudent to get some more RAM for it.
